How to use 보다 (boda) in Korean — "than ~"
How to Use
Used to compare two things. Attach 보다 to the one you are comparing against, and it means 'more than that'.
Rule: 보다 attaches directly to the noun with no space (마트보다). The thing you are comparing against comes first, so 마트보다 싸요 means cheaper than the supermarket. 더 is often added before the adjective for emphasis.
Examples
이게 저것보다 맛있어요.
This one is tastier than that one.
한국어가 영어보다 어려워요.
Korean is harder than English.
오늘이 어제보다 좋아요!
Today is better than yesterday!
