What does -던 (deon) mean in Korean?

How to Use

Used to describe something you did repeatedly in the past or left unfinished.

Rule: Attach -던 to any verb or adjective stem (가던 길, 읽던 책). Use -던 for something repeated or unfinished, and -았/었던 for a single completed event (갔던 곳).

Examples

자주 가던 카페예요.

It's a cafe I used to go to often.

먹던 거 마저 드세요.

Please finish what you were eating.

예전에 살던 동네예요.

It's the neighborhood I used to live in.
