How to use 에게/한테 (ege hante) in Korean — "to (a person)"
How to Use
Used to mark the person who receives something or is spoken to.
Rule: 한테 is for everyday speech, 에게 is for writing and formal speech, and 께 is the honorific form. For animals use 한테/에게; for places or organizations use 에 instead.
Examples
친구에게 선물을 줬어요.
I gave a gift to my friend.
저한테 물어보세요.
Ask me.
동생한테 말했어요.
I told my younger sibling.
