What does -어 오다 (eo oda) mean in Korean?

How to Use

Used for something you have continued doing from the past up to the present.

Rule: Choose -아 오다 after a stem with ㅏ or ㅗ (살아 오다), -어 오다 elsewhere (배워 오다), and 해 오다 for 하다 verbs. Compare with -어 가다, which looks toward the future.
