What does -을게 (eulge) mean in Korean?

How to Use

Used to promise the listener that you will do something.

Rule: This is 반말; the polite form is -을게요. After a consonant use -을게 (먹을게), after a vowel or ㄹ drop the 을 (갈게). The subject is always 'I', and it is never used as a question.

Examples

내가 할게.

I'll do it.

이따 연락할게.

I'll call you later.

먼저 갈게.

I'll head out first.
