What does -으면 안 되다 (eumyeon an doeda) mean in Korean?

How to Use

Used to say something is not allowed or not advisable.

Rule: After a stem ending in a consonant, use -으면 (먹으면 안 돼요). After a vowel or ㄹ, drop the 으 (가면 안 돼요, 만들면 안 돼요).

Examples

여기서 사진 찍으면 안 돼요.

You mustn't take photos here.

무리하시면 안 돼요.

You shouldn't overdo it.

이건 여기 버리면 안 돼요.
