What does -으면서 (eumyeonseo) mean in Korean?
How to Use
Used when one person does two things at the same time.
Rule: After a stem ending in a consonant, use -으면서 (먹으면서). After a vowel or ㄹ, drop the 으 (보면서, 만들면서). Both actions must have the same subject.
Examples
음악을 들으면서 걸어요.
I walk while listening to music.
커피를 마시면서 이야기했어요.
We talked over coffee.
웃으면서 말했어요.
She said it with a smile.
