How to use 으로 (euro) in Korean — "by; toward; with"

How to Use

Used to mark a direction, a means of doing something, or a material.

Rule: After a noun ending in a consonant, use 으로 (손으로). After a vowel or ㄹ, use 로 (버스로, 지하철로).

Examples

지하철로 가요.

I go by subway.

오른쪽으로 가세요.

Go to the right.

이건 콩으로 만들어요.

This is made with beans.
