What does -거나 (geona) mean in Korean?
How to Use
Used to list two or more actions or states when either one is possible.
Rule: Attach -거나 to a verb or adjective stem (먹거나, 좋거나). For nouns, use (이)나 instead — 커피나 차 (coffee or tea) after a vowel, 물이나 주스 (water or juice) after a consonant.
Examples
주말에는 영화를 보거나 책을 읽어요.
On weekends I watch movies or read books.
힘들거나 아프면 쉬세요.
If you're tired or sick, take a rest.
버스를 타거나 걸어서 가요.
I take the bus or walk.
