What does -나 보다 (na boda) mean in Korean?
How to Use
Used to guess about something based on evidence you can see or hear.
Rule: Verbs take -나 보다 (비가 오나 봐요). Adjectives take -은가/-ㄴ가 보다 instead — 좋은가 봐요 (consonant), 바쁜가 봐요 (vowel). Nouns take -인가 보다.
Examples
사람이 많나 봐요.
There must be a lot of people.
밖에 비가 오나 봐요.
It seems to be raining outside.
저 가게가 유명한가 봐요.
That shop must be famous.
