What does -는 김에 (neun gime) mean in Korean?
How to Use
Used to add a second action you can do conveniently while doing the first.
Rule: The first action is the main reason you are there; the second is the extra one. Verbs take -는 김에 for something you are doing now, and -은/-ㄴ 김에 for something already done (온 김에).
Examples
나가는 김에 우유 좀 사 올게요.
While I'm out, I'll grab some milk.
온 김에 차 한잔해요.
Since you're here, let's have some tea.
