oraenmanieyo
Long time no see.
Used when you meet someone again after a long gap. It's one of the most common Korean greetings.
Rule: The casual form is 오랜만이야. It's usually followed by 잘 지냈어요? (how have you been?) as a set pair.
오랜만이에요! 잘 지냈어요?
It's been a while! How have you been?
소피! 오랜만이에요!
Sophie! Long time no see!
오랜만이에요, 보고 싶었어요!
It's been a while — I missed you!
