Rain tapped the window, and I had zero plans. "I guess I'll just stay in today," I said to no one. Some Sundays are made for doing nothing.
My roommate suggested going out anyway. "I bet it's packed at the mall right now," I warned. Weekends turn every place into a crowd.
She wanted to grab coffee at our usual spot. "Chances are the café is closed on Sundays," I said. We checked, and I was right.
We thought about the little bakery down the street instead. "As far as I know, the bakery opens at nine," I said. Fresh bread sounded perfect for a slow morning.
We almost got dressed to head out into the rain. "On second thought, let's just order in," I said. We curled up on the couch instead.
