Talking About the Weather

날씨·스몰토크

Dark clouds were gathering over the rooftops. "It looks like it's going to rain," I said. We grabbed our umbrellas just in case.
I opened the door and the cold hit me hard. "It's freezing out there this morning," I said. She added a scarf before stepping out.
My friend had just moved to the coast. "What's the weather like up there?" I asked. She said sunny but windy most days.
The air was thick and heavy by noon. "I can't stand this humidity," I groaned. She laughed and handed me a cold drink.
The forecast promised one clear afternoon. "Let's make the most of the sunshine," I said. We packed a quick lunch and headed out.
