The sink was full and nobody had moved. "It's your turn to do the dishes," I reminded him. He groaned but rolled up his sleeves.
The laundry basket was way too full. "Can you give me a hand with the laundry?" I asked. He folded while I sorted the socks.
He was halfway out the door already. "Don't forget to take out the trash," I called. He spun around and grabbed the bag.
I opened the door and sighed at the sight. "The kitchen is a total mess," I said. We split it up and cleaned it in twenty minutes.
I dropped onto the couch, finally done. "I just finished vacuuming the whole place," I said. He handed me a cold drink as a reward.
