Bedtime

육아

The clock ticked past eight and toys still covered the floor. "It's time to get ready for bed," I said softly. She yawned and reached for her bear.
She climbed into bed with a sleepy smile. "Did you brush your teeth already?" I asked. She nodded and showed me her minty grin.
She bounced toward the stairs in her socks. "Be careful not to slip on the steps," I warned. She slowed down and held the rail.
She lined up her shoes by the door all by herself. "Good job putting your shoes away," I said. Her whole face lit up with pride.
Her little brother reached for the same toy. "You need to share with your brother," I said gently. She thought about it, then handed it over.
