How I Really Feel

감정·반응 표현

She showed me the calendar and I froze. "I can't believe it's already December," I said. The whole year had slipped right by us.
She told me the good news over dinner. "That makes me so happy to hear," I said. I couldn't stop smiling the rest of the night.
She crossed the finish line out of breath. "I'm so proud of you for finishing," I said. She hugged me, still catching her breath.
The clock ticked and he still wasn't there. "It drives me crazy when people are late," I muttered. She reminded me to take a breath.
The test results finally came back clear. "Oh, that's such a relief," I breathed. We celebrated with a quiet, happy dinner.
