I Have a Feeling

추측·확신

Something about the day felt promising. "I have a feeling she'll say yes," I said. I couldn't explain it, but I was usually right.
The lights were off and the car was gone. "It must be later than I thought," I realized. We had completely lost track of time.
He swore he'd locked the door behind us. "There's no way he forgot again," I said. But sure enough, it was wide open.
I patted my pockets just to double-check. "I'm pretty sure I locked the door," I said. We walked back anyway, just in case.
I felt sure about how it would all turn out. "This place will be packed by summer, mark my words," I said. A year later, I was proven right.
