We arrived at the restaurant a little early. "Could you give us a table by the window?" I asked the waiter. He nodded kindly.
The menu looked wonderful. "I'd like to try the seafood pasta," I said. It was the chef's special that night.
My coworker looked happy and relaxed. "Why don't we share a dessert?" she suggested. That sounded perfect to me.
The light was a bit dim for a photo. "Would you mind turning on your phone light?" I asked. She helped right away.
It was getting late, and I had an early morning. "Is it okay if I leave a little early?" I asked. Everyone understood.
