The place was packed, but we hoped anyway. "Do you have a table for two?" I asked. He found us a spot by the window.
We sat down and got comfortable. "Could I see the wine list, please?" I asked. He returned with it and a smile.
I couldn't decide between two dishes. "How's the seafood pasta here?" I asked. The waiter swore it was the best seller.
Her order sounded better than anything I'd seen. "That sounds great — I'll have the same," I said. The waiter nodded and took the menus.
We pushed our empty plates aside, satisfied. "Everything was delicious, thank you," I said. The chef waved from the kitchen.
