He was clearly talking, but we heard nothing. "Hey, you're on mute," I said, waving. He laughed and unmuted himself.
I shared my slides and paused to check. "Can everyone see my screen okay?" I asked. A few quick yeses came through.
A couple of people were still missing. "Let's wait for everyone to join," I said. We chatted casually for two minutes.
Someone asked for the document mid-call. "I'll drop the link in the chat," I offered. It popped up for everyone instantly.
One topic was dragging the whole call down. "Let's take this offline and move on," I suggested. We circled back to it later, just the two of us.
