Right on Time

시간 표현

Traffic had crawled the whole way there. "I'm running late for the meeting," I texted. She said she'd stall them for me.
I glanced at the clock and relaxed a little. "Good, we have ten minutes to spare," I said. We grabbed a coffee on the way.
The bus still hadn't shown after the delay. "Let's give it another five minutes," I said. Right on cue, it rolled around the corner.
The afternoon had quietly slipped away. "It's about time we headed out," I said. We grabbed our coats and made for the door.
I slid into my seat as the doors closed. "Phew, just in time," I breathed. The train pulled away a second later.
